At last the storm is over ,  its  still raining though .  Wish it would go cooler its very hot & now humid with it 😞

New machine is all set up in my sewing room , ive had a little play with it but its been far to hot & stuffy up there to do much .

DH is watching Luther so im in here 🙂

CB my knee isnt painful now the bruise has come out ...unless i kneel on it !

It's not as hot and humid here tonight as it was last night.  It's cloudy and looks like it could pour with rain.

I'm glad that you like your new sewing machine PCC but I can understand where you are coming from with the heat.. I live in a bungalow and the bedrooms are at the back.  The bedrooms are south facing so we need the windows open all day long.  There's a lovely breeze coming through from the bedrooms now.

I'll be going to bed soon as I am shattered.

ooooooo I had a panic there, I emailed youTwishy, and I couldn't get back into FHG it just disappeared!!!!

Maggie, I'm here, poor Maggie, If I panic I email her.....I bet she's fed up of me now

I've just been out and watered the garden, half the lovely plants are all burned at the edges...they just can't stand the heat. Neither can I

Loads cooler here this morning so I'm off shpping and to the post office before it heats up...then back for some stitchery stuff...

Morning all.

Still no rain here and very humid and sticky, we are forecast for a downpour tomorrow so hopefully that will clear the air.

Bet welsh water feel really stoopid now though after sending us all flood warning txts on Monday

Have FIL in hospital for his radical radiotherapy.

Problem now is tackling his house, which is far worse than we thought, so I've done 7 loads of washing and have the whole house to clean and fumigate as the treatment will affect his spleen and his immune system.

I also have an issue re work, and had a phone call yesterday from OH's stepsister to tell me that her husband had dropped dead.

Feel like packing my bags.

I'm off to a funeral at 1pm.  The chap whose funeral it is, his wife died a few years back and they only had one daughter whose 54 and has Downs Syndrome.  It's really sad.  

It's a bit cooler here but no sign of any more rain.  We had a quick thunderstorm yesterday morning and a quick shower a couple of hours later but we are in dire need of quite a bit more rain.

Afternoon all.  Just back from the funeral which was lovely if funerals can be lovely.  I had to have three hugs off the daughter of the chappy whose funeral it was.  She did well but I don't think that she really understands what's happened.  

It's still as warm as ever here but it has clouded over a lot now.

Well folks, I'm back to being an in-mate in the asylum. Was fine uo to yesterday afternoon. Had been in to the office, just to chat and get some photocopying done. Got home, and it felt as if someone had turned a switch off. Temperature spiked, and it was difficult to get it to come down. Also started being sick.

The outreach nurse took one look at me this morning and phoned the ambulance.

The wound seems fine, so no-one has any idea what is wrong.
