You have two replys. 🙂

I am off to the docs at 11.30 as my knee/leg is still very painful after a fall several weeks ago. Then I will be enjoying the company of my lovely family.:-D They are staying until Thursday evening I think.

Back from the docs. I have a hematoma under my kneecap. It will get better over the next month or so! 😐 He said to try not to bump or knock it. He didn't need to tell me that as if I do I touch the ceiling! lol

Afternoon

Got back last night after a long weekend sailing on the Thames.

Saw the Olympic rowers as the processed up the river at Henley, then did the town in an open topped bus.

Also saw some of Reading Festival - and some very odd sights 😉

Now busy with wasking, shopping and housework as I'm back at work tomorrow.

Managed to finish another Tractor Jumper while I was away..

Left home this morning to make my way to darkest Kent, locked the door, looked at the grass in front of where all the recycling bags/boxes had been until last night & spotted....... my ring!
How I didn't tread on it ( bare footed) when I bought all the bins/bags through to the back

Hugs to all the folks who need them )))RL((( - I'm with ck - my little world is much more restful.

Poor Cap - have they said when you are likely to go in?  You just have to think that you will feel better, and painfree, once it is all over.:-x

Calico - I don't know how you did it, but you have sent me your chest inf.  Was at doc first thing and have slept all day, so not like me.  I hope you are feeling better.

Towery - I missed you had mentioned Gleneagles - you would be welcome - I don't do mornings - and lunch is always home made soup, or OH goes into a decline:^O

Little unicorn is bonny Gina, glad you found your ring.

Hubby had made a very solid low stool for sitting on to milk the goats.  It was about 10 or 12 inches high and had four very sturdy legs made of 2"x2" timber and a plastic covered foam seat.

It wasn't a work of art, but my mum found it invaluable when she broke her foot.  Hubby put a caster on the bottom of each leg and she was able to sit on it and skuttle herself around, pushing with her good foot.  We called it the 'grannymobile' :^O but she really would have been helpless without it.

You'll have to get mr bovine to knock you up one up!
