Just think what it could be like if everyone did their job properly!  I wonder why they don't.  Is it that they haven't got time?  Haven't got resources?  Haven't got ability?  Haven't got incentive?  What is it?????

The thing is CG, a lot of them don't have a clue.  I've seen that when my mum's been in hospital.  We have two hospitals in our area.  One accepts in-patients and also has out-patients clinics.  The other is mainly out-patients.  The one which accepts in-patients can be brilliant but they can also be terrible.

Trevor will be visiting daily - he's a sweetie. He's got to inspect my positive pressure dressing - it only took them 6 hours to figure out how to do it - thankfully the lovely sister from the outreach team came and told them what to do.

It hasn't half sucked out a load of junk already and it is so much more comfortable with no incontinence pads.

Seems to be going o.k., we seem to have the dressing sorted. We'd just re-sealed it all, then the doctors came along and pulled it all off (as they do).

Managed to have a shower this morning and that made me feel a whole lot better.

They're obviously expecting me till be here next week as they're planning to put in a different type of line for I.V. meds on Tuesday. So they must be planning to continue the I.V> meds well into next week.

As long as they start looking after you properly you are in the best place. You can always shout for Trevor if you need back up! 😉
