Who watched this last night?
I think it was absolutely brilliant and so glad that so many of the well known characters from all those years ago made an appearance. My teenager and I were rolling around with laughter.
It did say somewhere on Yahoo that it is hoped that the programme will be revived. I do hope so as I loved this first time around.
Does anyone else hope that this can be revived?

we were not impressed by this at all.i think it was badly written and the young actor was not good either.i now hope they finally put it to bed.

I didn't watch it either last night or first time round. For some reason, I've never really fancied that programme. I like David Jason as Inspector Jack Frost. I think he's brilliant in that.

Hillarious. Bravo
When I started to watch it I did think it won't be the same but watched it and it worked really well for me. I found it very funny. and a good follow on from the first ones. And yes keeping some of the old cast in was good.

I think it has potential, Granville has certainly stepped into Arkright's shoes very nicely.
Incidentally, the original series has had some impact on the railway enthusiast world of today; a type of train introduced in 2003 ( well after the original series ended ) os nicknamed "Arkrights" because of their type... the class number for them is 444. Think about it for a minute...

I have just watched it and quite enjoyed it - I needed a few laughs, and this did the job nicely.
