Still far too cold for me to think about gardening! I am liking the lighter evenings though.:)

It's still on the nippy side here. Earlier on, I managed to plant the three rose bushes we bought the other day. A couple of weeks ago, we pruned the hydrangeas and roses in the front garden. I have managed to do a lot of tidying up mainly in the front garden. I love the light nights though but I don't like having to get seriously wrapped up to do some gardening.

It's more than nippy here. That wind has ice in it!

It's not quite that cold here Maggie but it's cold enough.

We have been very lucky and had a mild even sunny at times weekend, although there was a ground frost last night. I am like CB, I love spring and can see the shoots of hosta and dicentra and geums, roses and I have primulas in flower. When I was married (April), I had acres of daffodils and yellow ribbon everywhere. My favourite season. Happiest in my garden. Rest day today, to build up reserves for a couple of hours work tomorrow, have to re paint a couple of pots and the garden gates.

We've had some lovely sunny weather recently (we could do with some rain though) and we have a lot of spring flowers out.

We had rain on Friday and Saturday and it has made a difference as quite a few more of our spring bulbs are flowering.

Lovely pics CG - I do have some little narcissi in bud, but not out yet. Still have snowdrops and crocus though. I scattered the snowdrops through the gravel at the side of the drive so I can see them every time I pop in and out.
