Afternoon all.  It poured down here until about 10 and now, it is lovely sunny.  It's windy and cold though.  We are listening to the awkward little beggar from nextdoor.  He seems to have found his hammer.  Here's me hoping that he'd lost it.  Obviously not.  The sooner he sells his bungalow the better.  All the rest of our neighbours are lovely but he certainly is not.

Bet you're looking forward to the next nine days CB.  I know that I would be if I were you.  I hope that your back is feeling better now as well.

Merc, it surprises me that Twishy's not smelled the chocklit yet.  I hope that she's feeling alright.

I have been ironing, yuk.  I have also been making some cards, I have been a bit sleepy after working all night and just getting 4 hours sleep, so I thought I wouldn't do anything very challenging.

Just finished cleaning the kitchen and about to sit down with my tea.

Ooops must just pop off and get my lottery ticket.

I think that ironing is a job that should be computerised.  It's a job I hate with a vengeance.

did a supermarket shop this morning,  then i wandered around town

this afternoon i got serious with the hallowe'en make,  lol i had  needed inspiration

this evenening ive done tea and  watched a film.

just checking the boards and facebook, then i may get stuck into a book i need to finish

i rarely iron these day, unless its absolutely needed  lol

i dry things as straight as they can be, hand or fold them asap

still have a pile of things but if im not going to wear them immediately why bother ironing them for them to gather dust in the wardrobe

persisted down here all morning but the sun broke through this afternoon so the littlies and I have been tidying up the veg plot and cutting back the goosegog and blackcurrant bushes

As to the ironing I have been saving it up I am afraid. If I had the money I would pay somebody to do it. It is the most boring job ever. That's why I loke the winter so long as things are dried properly and folded they don't need ironing fleeces and jumpers hide a multitude of sins.
Anyway I now have an empty ironing basket and a tidy airing cupboard so I feel quite proud of myself.

It is quiet on here tonight I must admit.  We're going to bed soon.  I think that the best part of it being cooler today is that I find I sleep better as I can snuggle up in bed and be nice and warm.

Ohhhh yes its Chilly alright,,, a real NIP in the air this morning and im indoors. Just stuck my head out on my Balcony was enough!!!. LOL. No shopping today just doing lunch and relaxing all day. Ive done my washing,,, the hooverings ok. Mmmmm lovely.

Afternoon all.  It was cold here first thing.  When I went out at around 7.50 this morning, the car was telling me that it was 5 degrees outside.  It has warmed up a bit though.  Mum keeps saying that she's cold.  She thought that I was sickening for something before as I was quite warm.  I am warm but I don't feel ill thankfully.

we went to Ikea today, I love that place!! we have a burgundy coloured suite, but I wanted to blast it into this centuary, so I went and bought two turquoise coloured tables to make a long coffee table out of. They look bit strange, but I love them!!!! OH kind of likes them, he's a bit old fashioned.

I think the shot of colour looks good, I bet our 80yr old neighbour will think I've lost the plot hahahaaaaaa.

my sciatica seems better today, at least I walked round Ikea and didn't get into trouble.

Glad that your back is feeling better today CB.  Your tables sound nice.  We've not been to Ikea for about 10 years.  Our nearest Ikea is in Warrington and it's nextdoor to a massive M & S and I mean massive.

Morning all.  It's pouring with rain and there is an awful gale blowing as well and it isn't nice.  For me, the only weather that is worse than this is snow and ice.  I dread to think what winter will be like.
