Slept most of the day so lovely and cosy where I was   OH says we had a lovely clear day, but cold.

That's where I hope to be as well CB.  We've only got one lawn and that's at the back and it's in desperate need of a visit from the lawn mower.

Thanks Chris, I'm going back now.  I had a big day out yesterday, with real people and I wore real clothes (ie no pyjamas) and everything, more laters. 

My OH cuts the lawn, it is the one job in the garden I loathe.  Nnight all xx.

There's only me that can mow our lawn as mum can't do it now as it's too much for her.  

Hope that you have a good night's sleep Carol.  I'm shattered and apart from my swim, the most I've done today is take mother for a food shop.  We're going to bed soon as mum's tired as well.

Thank you all for his birthday wishes.  We've had visitors nearly all day!!  He went to bed at 9 pm before the last one left!  I think I'll have a nice lazy day tomorrow.

I heard on the forecast it's gonna get warmer next week.  My daughter sent me a piccy from today on the Isle of Skye and they're all in shorts and T shirts eating ice cream and the sky is as blue as blue!!

Morning all.  It looks like it's going to be a nice day weather wise today.  However, there's condensation on the greenhouse so it must have been cool last night.  I hope that the weather is nice next week because we are going on another trip. This time to Cleveleys and there's a meal included.  We are looking forward to it.

I have a man doing some roof repairs today. It's dry here but chilly & windy.

Still waiting for mine it is coming up to 3 and a half years now.  We always know when it is due as the trailer parks in Wickes car park next to where I work, and we haven't seen it yet. The other end must be due soon too, oh deep joy.  I need to go to the dentist and the opticians, I bet they all come at once.

Yes that's true, I've had the eyes, teeth, & boobs, & I've got the smear next week, lol.

I had the boobs last year, I don't go for the other end any more.  I could volunteer but I declined, thank you very much!  I go to the dentist every six months and I know I'll need some fillings (at the very least) when I go in September.  I went to the optitions 45 years ago, perhaps I should go again? and now of course us oldies have the bowel screening every two years!!    They're out to get you any  way they can!!!!
