I'm looking for a job at the moment. I had some good news, I have an interview next week and also have been contacted regarding another two possibilities too, so hopefully things are looking up 

Chickengrandma, I'm very impressed with your swimming. I swim too and agree it is boring. But I just concentrate on counting and empty my mind of everything else for an hour. I find it strangely relaxing, but lose count too!

Hi Merc. Glad you are home Stroppy. I have been at the Stitching & Hobbycraft show all day. It was very busy & I might take up rag rugging! lol I need to get a hook. They seem rather expensive on here. It's not a latch hook, it has a lever bit on it. Anyone got one to MDCC?

I've spent the day baking. I boobed and made a batch of cakes with only half the flour in them!!! OH ate them though, said they were light as a feather!! I've made two dozen muffins, a choc and vanilla supreme cake, and a hooooge apple crumble for my friends at work.

yes, I get fed up counting, so just settle for swimming for an hour unless some couple of old biddies

using the pool as their social venue keep getting in the way :-<

(it's not a big pool).  Anyway, I won't be going to the over 45s session again.

On hol abroad I had the pool to myself 1st thing in the morning & last thing before it closed, so

 it's a bummer to go to oversubscribed local pools.
