Rather proud Mum(and Dad and rest of family) moment

Very, very proud Mum moment.  Not a good piccie but best we have that is small enough to fit. He was wiped out for 24 hours afterwards.

Not very many ck.  Whole day was a bit traumatic, trying to keep him calm and cool(suit, 90degs and diabetic don't mix) and ensure he got to ceremony at all. Uni were great organising him. This one is afterwards, looking much more like himself - he couldn't walk unaided by this point - with BIL

Hello Guardpig - I am so chuffed for your son and also for you and hubby.  I know you have put in so much work to get your son to where he is now.

I wish him all the best for the future heart

Best thing is my daughter who decided she looked so good in the hat that she intends to start a GCSE evening class in September and keep going so she can get to wear one of these for real!.

She has just passed her grade1 piano exam with distinction so she is well chuffed.

My daughter was a stereotypical blonde bimbo hairdresser until she reached 30. Re-took her GCSEs because her original results were so dire, went on to higher education & has just finished her first year as a primary school teacher & is loving it. So it's never to late.
