Hi folks,
I want to stick a couple of thin ply butterflies to a wooden photo frame but would like them to 'wiggle' a bit rather than just be stuck on flat.
If this is possible, does anybody have any ideas what to use to do this, please?

To get them to move about I think that you would need to use a hot glue gun to attach a spring to each - I mean a very short fat sort of spring, not a long thin one.
If you wanted a dangly sort of effect you could use a small strip of acetate with one end of the acetate attached to the frame and the other to the butterfly.
If you just wanted a 3d sort of effect then you could use a foam pad cut to shape, or a blob of silicone adhesive.
Good luck - and don't forget we demand pictures os the finished article.

You could do as stroppy says but with a small peice of pipe cleaner and a glue gun.

FHG cavalry to the rescue again - thank you folks 🙂 *waves back*
Some good ideas there, ladies 🙂 I had a trial run with a curly wire but it wasn't strong enough to hold the butterfly when upright - it just uncurled itself when I stood it up. Worked perfectly lying flat, Hmph!
I was trying to do it so the glue blob didn't show - it's not the prettiest stuff known to man - but that didn't work either!
Looks like it's sticky pads & a butterfly that doesn't flutter! They're laser cut from thin birch ply so the wings don't move independantly to the body unfortunately.
Pic to follow once it's finished 🙂
Thanks again all - very much appreciated 🙂
