Very shocked to read this. Knew she was away for a while, but didn't realise she was ill.

Anyone know what was wrong?

I think she had been ill with cancer & kept it quiet , wonder how they will write it into the script

She had cancer some years ago, it seems it came back (breast cancer) and she was too ill from the treatment so stopped it and it spread to her brain.

It looks as if she wasn't expected back, she was sorting out her affairs.

She used to talk with her mouth full and spray food over the table and other actors.

Poor girl, I thought she looked very unwell when she testified at Ken Barlow's (can't remember his name) trial.
