Need delivery to Scotland

I am trying to find a glass fronted display cabinet, 25 to 30 inches wide, which can be delivered to Scotland. I cannot collect and have, in the past, been unable to find a willing courier.

I will be grateful for any assistance.

try your local removal companies.

in the past i've had individual pieces of furniture transported from glasgow to london or glasgow to torquay. 

some removal companies specialise in part loads ?

and removal lorries are usually empty on their way back from wherever they've been and may be willing to do a detour.

i know a local removal company said to me that they would have been very happy to collect a large wardrobe for me from swindon on their return from one of their many trips to london - i hadn't thought of that so didn't buy the wardrobe 😞

There are furniture sellers on here who deliver all over the country using their own vehicles. I'm not allowed to direct you on here to one such seller whos got over 250 lots here including some within your size range.

I have found willing delivery of furniture on EBay too - I am in the SE & have bought from Cornwall & East Anglia with economical delivery

I am eyeing up some pieces in Scotland at the moment!!

I have also used Courier companies, most often on recommendation.  Ask around?

I find most folk really helpful.  Sometimes domestic sellers just don't have the contacts, but most who regularly shift furniture have ways & means!!

In the past, I have used a 'man with a van' website.  It works by you posting the job you need doing, and  'men with vans' will quote you for the job, you pick the one that suits you best.  It works similar to ebay and you can see feedback from their previous customers.

I found a really great guy on the website and use him regularly now.
