Monday's teatime eatables

Curry for moi and chicken pie with veg for the teenager. Very boring but warming and filling.

Re: Monday's teatime eatables

We had cheese toasties which we usually have for Sunday lunch.  We had them today because they're hubby's favourites and he missed them yesterday as we went out for sunday lunch. Woman Very Happy

Re: Monday's teatime eatables

I did a smoked gammon joint overnight on the cheap electric, it was soft as butter, we had it with crispy slices, and sweet potato and butternut squash, then tonight we had lentil soup made with the stock...how's that for economical!!

I really enjoyed that lot!

Re: Monday's teatime eatables

Bramley apple sausages with onions, pepper, tomatos and some cannelli beans served over Basmati and wild rice topped with a slice of cheese. It really hit the spot too.

Life is too short so enjoy it while you can!
