Will pay asap. Trying to log into my ebay to access etc and I've always had it on 'password saved', now wants my password and I can't flipping remember it, have tried resetting it as per instructions and keep being told my password change was successful only to be told it's incorrect when entering on ebay.
Can only get into the boards because it's bookmarked and password saved.
Will try again today & then make payments.

Gina, you are one of my buyers...... please don't worry.

You will see from my previous post that my eBay settings are all over the place!  I can't even sell on my 'approved' Yorkshire Cat Rescue Account and eBay don't know what they have done!

Enlighten me please - I've seen the letters connected to knitted items and toys, computer programmes and software and also American qualifications.  What, in this contex do the letters MDCC stand for.  I'm not playing games with you, I'm genuine - it's driving me mad!Smiley Mad

MDCC next Sunday 22nd.

I think it's Monthly Daft Charity Coalition.

It was started many years ago by "yorkie" and I think it was then called Yorkie's Mad Charity Auctions or something similar.

Thanx.  It seems to be an acronym that can stand for almost anything.

MDCC next Sunday 22nd.

Here you go:

This is how MDCC works (Monthly Daft Charity Coalition)

Once each month sellers aim to have fun whilst raising money for charities and good causes of their choice

MDCC runs for 7 days starting on the last Sunday of each month (excluding December) and sellers are invited to list up to 5 fun auctions to raise money for their favorite charity or good cause mention the charity you are sending the money to & include MDCC in the auction title so people can find your stuff. Easy! Most sellers do this as a normal auction & don't involve Mission Fish who take a cut. You just send the money collected to your charity at the end. If your buyers are regulars they will ask for your PP address so they can gift you the money to avoid PP fees.

You are welcome to copy any of the bumph of another MDCC auction to use on yours.

All are welcome to join in.

Any more questions please ask.

MDCC next Sunday 22nd.

It started as YDC Yorkie's Daft Competition. The charity bit came later. Originally a competition to see who could sell a worthless bit of tat for the largest amount, with a start price of 99p and the prize was to be crowned King or Queen of the Round Table...the board where it originated. The selling page was to be creative/ funny to tempt people to buy tat.
when the sums realised were much higher than expected, some, and later all, of the sellers decided to donate the amounts to charity.

Yorkie left and so the competition name was changed and then the competitive aspect was dropped.

I remember those days but people won't & can't spend hard earned money on tat these days. It has changed a lot & it's glory days are long gone.
