Looking for a new author - recommendation

Good morning one and all.

By sheer fluke I picked up a book at the library by an author I had never read before - WENDY HOLDEN - love her books - can anybody out there recommend another author who is similar in their style of writing to Wendy Holden?

Normally I read "sagas" - ie Lynda Page, Maureen Lee, Josephine Cox et al and appear to have read most authors in this genre

Obviously recommendations are always gratefully received.

Thanks

I love crime books and my favourite authour is Tess Gerritsen,

whose female leads are a police woman and a pathologist.

I too love Patricia Cornwells' books, also John Grisham and Kathy Reichs, not keen on soppy books, but like historical novels,

I like to read Autobiographies reading Paul O'gradys second book at the moment, hopefully will be getting Jenifer Saunders and the little girl Malala Yousafzai books for Christmas.

I will read almost anything really except maybe Mills and Boon.

I like Kathy Reichs too. I have been trying to remember her name all morning! I have read a couple of Barbara Vine's too & they were good.

Shelly is bang on with Tess Gerritsen but its a bit more gruesome. In the same vein as Josephine Cox sort of thing Rosie Goodwin or Lynda Paige are fantastic!!. Also Annie Murray and Pam Evans. Im an avid reader and love the stories of older times!!!. Give them a go you will love them!!.

I like easy reading. Nothing scary or detectives or thrillers or scifi.

It's great when you discover a new to you author Cat Happy

I've enjoyed Maeve Binchy, Patricia Scanlan, Sheila O'Flanagan, Jill Mansell, Jojo Moyes, Joanna Trollope and probably loads more....Smiley Happy

I've not done any reading for a while but I like the Rebus books by Ian Rankin.  I also like the Charlie Priest crime novels by Stuart Pawson.  Other authors I like are Kathy Reichs, John Grisham and James Patterson.  The Womens Murder Club books by James Patterson are good.

Sorry I should have explained you type in the name of the author you like and it searches for writers who are similar.  Look for the ones closest to your favourite author.

For those who read crime fiction, try James Lee Burke, American - about a New Orleans detective - brilliant.
