Yoohooo!
I hope you are all fine!! I rarely pop in now but really need to find time to find out what you've all been upto....
I've been thinking about you guys recently..... about all the support you gave me when I needed it. I am pleased to say that in the years since you guys helped me discover my 7yr old has Aspergers somehow he managed to not get expelled from school. He's made a few friends (we've moved around the country 2 times so he has had to try each time to find new pals), he achieved a few good things (black belt in karate + 3 gcse's already including an A* in maths last year) and finished sitting the last of many gcse exams last week.
He's 16 and not in a detention centre. There were times when I thought that would happen....
Haven't wanted to say it for fear of jinxing, but the last 2 years I have not had to get that call off the school. To say he's in trouble.
Of course, every time the house phone rang my heart skipped a beat.... but apart from a few late homeworks, things have been ok.
He's at 6th form induction today and is going to the school prom this week 🙂
So I just wanted to say thanks guys, for showing me the way and being there xx
