Well well well we are slipping aren't we what with these new board changes.
No thread as yet and MDCC starts this Sunday so..........
Who's selling what ?, who's supporting who ? and most importantly of all who's been saving their pennies

Hope your feeling better now welshy ,
There are some lovely items but not much activity on mdcc this month , it may all have a last minute rush .

I still have a few with no bids so hope it picks up towards the weekend. Twishy's Pegbags are doing well though.

Good afternoon all.
Hopefully the bidding will pick up as the weekend approaches - so far just one bid on one item, and two items with no bids. Hmmmm, do I need to brush off my html and be really annoying with scrolling muti-coloured text just to draw your attention?
Fortunately work have manged to pay me this month, so I am off to exercise my bidding finger.

thanks to all my bidders so far .got some from (non fhg i think.) things are picking up a bit but still need more bids please
02-08-2013 11:15 PM
haha, found you at last!!
I just spent ages searching for fhg, haven't had a look since it all got changed.
What an idiot I am, I forgot to include MDCC in one of my titles (so you won't have seen it!) and another one ends a day late. I ma having an Extremely Busy week, my Other Charity has its summer activities for children with special needs going on and theres a fund raising concert on Sunday, and I have been trying to update their website (climbing a steep learning curve once again!), and babysitting so my sis can look after the children at holiday club, and generally trying to do too many things at once!
Also more illness in Uganda, two of our friends there have had malaria including a little boy. It's amazing how attached you can get to someone you have never met! Sadly none of our Friends of Bwindi listings has any bids. I don't know why, if anyone has any Special Requests for next month please let me know and I'll see what we've got!
I'm going to do a bit of bidding then a lot of sleeping, I think. Please look at my listings and the Friends of Bwindi ones!
By the way, does anyone know what the 'spoiler tag' thing does? Why would I want to spoil my message?!

Lots of non MDCC peeps bidding on them Twishy!

Oooooh, I'm getting excited, I have new bids, and one from a non mdcc-er.
That was a nice surprise when I got home from a quick trip to hossie.

I have a few bids in and a couple of daft questions.
I am supporting The Last Chance Hotel, they rescue and rehome dogs who are 'hard to home' mainly due to breed rather than character. They have a lurcher puppy with Swimmers Disease who needs hydrotherapy and surgery which is expensive. I have an overfull craft room that is in need of a tidy
for those with facebook she is here https://www.facebook.com/groups/573442792688896/
Are there rules about joining in for next month? Her treatment is a long term need so I am looking at making a regular contribution.

Hi Ginger ninja, as far as I know the only rules are .......... list for 7days on the last sun in the month & no BIN's. allowed, if I've forgotten anything I'm sure others will be around tomorrow to add their two pen'oth
Good luck to everyone with their auctions, hope everybody does well
I won't be around until evening time as its Imogens christening, so if anyone needs me or messages me I won't be able to reply before then ............... in the meantime bid .... bid .... bid .....
that Tantalising TILLY took me ages to finish so she's a total one off & your going to have to fight over her ....... I'm absoloutley gobsmacked with how many watchers she has
No bids as yet on poor little mousey though
...... I guess non of you want to send your cat crazy this month

Thank you
Mine are not old enough for cat nip yet, they are still trying to find their feet but it is funny watching them
