Has anyone used a jigsaw puzzle roll, where you roll the puzzle up until you want to do some more? Read mixed reviews on them. As we have a small house, I don't have a table, so though I could do the puzzle on the carpet, then just roll it away. Thanks in advance for any comments.

Friend of mine has one and it works fine.
We have a flat folder type one which slides under the sofa or vertically behind the chair, depending on mood.

PS, before we got that we used to trawl the charity shops looking for 200/300 piece puzzles to do on the little coffee table. There are adult ones out there but they take a fair bit of looking for.

This isn't much help sorry,
Gave one to my Dad a couple of years ago and he loves it and uses it all the time in the winter,
Gave one to my Aunt the same time and she hates it won't use it, probably because of the way she rolls it up, but I don't know.

Hi, don't know if this will help either but, my Dad had one of the fold-up board type and found it very useful. He had M.S. and used to sit in an armchair with his feet up , he found it easy to rest the board across his legs and the arms of the chair. The roll up sort wouldn't have been any good for him as he found it much less comfortable to sit up at the table to use it.
My mum still uses the board to this day, Dad has been gone 20 years now so it has lasted well

The flat portfolio style folders are better; I have found that the roll up ones tend to damage the bumps on the pieces

Yes, I think I'll get a portfolio style after reading the comments on here. Thank you everyone, much appreciated xx
