Maybe it's time to introduce our newest little family member.
His name, so far, is Little Black Cat, at least until I am certain
he is staying.
I found him a week and a half ago, running alongside a very
busy dual carriageway, all on his own, with traffic thundering by,
he was very, very frightened.
Despite my advertising that I've got him to local vets and rescues
and the national missing pets register, nobody as called and we
and some of the places I phoned have concluded that he may have
been thrown out of a car. It breaks my heart to think someone could
do that, there is no excuse for it, he is so tiny, I don't reckon he's more
than eight to ten weeks old. Our other cats have accepted him, our
tabby one claimed him within a few minutes of me getting him home
and they've been inseperable ever since.

Are you able to post your pics using the tree icon in the reply box Fishy? They come out too big for me to view as an attachment.

Patch, I can't see a tree icon. I'm sorry they come out like that.

Have you got a name yet???????????. awwwwww hes beautiful lovely face and expression.

Well not exactly Rose, son wants to call him Mikali (some character
from Japanese anime) or Levi. I call him Little Kit at the moment
'cos when I say "Hello Little Kit", he miouws but no sound comes out -
it's really cute.
I said to son this morning, "Ahh look, his little mouth opens but nothing
comes out", and he was very quick to reply, "Shame the same can't be said
for his other end!" He does do rather a lot of poo, considering the size of him!

Lol, he has a speedy metabolism
Isn't metabolism responsible? Perhaps that's a name for him??!! lol
He is so at home with you Fishy. I don't think he wants to be 'claimed', & nor do his new cat friends
Nor do we on FHG heh heh xx

I'm not a regular Poster on the new style Boards, albeit I do regularly lurk on them and love to read Threads relating to cats...I adore them...in fact I love all animals. I just had to comment on this particular one. It's so good to know there are such wonderful animal lovers on this planet; it restores my faith in human nature when I read about a poor, abandoned animal that's been discarded by a cruel, thoughtless individual. No excuse for it. However, fishpieface, it's so good to read about the little black cat you've re-homed and such a joy to know that your permanent residents have fallen in love with him/her. (sorry, unsure of cat's gender!). Nevermind about your husband, I'm sure you'll win him over and he will also learn to love the new addition. I hope to read more about your little cat. Happy Christmas.

Thanks people, and thank you Birdie for yourpost, it's nice to meet you especially as
you are a fellow lover of all things furry!
Well, we've just been away for a couple of nights and LBC and the others have been
entrusted to a lovely friend who's been coming in regularly to check on them all. They've
been very good and LBC has had no trouble in shoving the others out of the way to get
his (and their) share of the grub. He was a bit put out when she intervened to let the
others have some food but otherwise acted adorably by cocking his teeny head to one
side and doing his silent miouw thing. He just did it when I told him off for scratching
the sofa, I'll have to get a piccie of him doing that, he thinks he can get away with
anything with that cuteness overload!
