Maybe it's time to introduce our newest little family member.
His name, so far, is Little Black Cat, at least until I am certain
he is staying.
I found him a week and a half ago, running alongside a very
busy dual carriageway, all on his own, with traffic thundering by,
he was very, very frightened.
Despite my advertising that I've got him to local vets and rescues
and the national missing pets register, nobody as called and we
and some of the places I phoned have concluded that he may have
been thrown out of a car. It breaks my heart to think someone could
do that, there is no excuse for it, he is so tiny, I don't reckon he's more
than eight to ten weeks old. Our other cats have accepted him, our
tabby one claimed him within a few minutes of me getting him home
and they've been inseperable ever since.

Oh Fishy how wonderful you get to keep him, a LUCKY Christmas for him I think.
I have always had black cats I love them.

I know Merc, he's adorable really, and quite good for a kitten!
Hubby isn't keen on having another cat but I was very upset at
the thought of parting with him, I think he's going to let me keep him.
That's assuming his owner doesn't come forward of course.

Don't worry about hubby, one look at that face and he won't be able to resist.

Awwwww What a cutie Fishy. I think the way your cat is curled up with LBC that indicates he is keeping him and I don't think he should go anywhere other than stay where he is. 🙂 What a lucky little boy to have you looking after him. 🙂

Lovely little black cat
So lucky to have been found by you
He looks very at home, hope he stays

How sweet..looks like he's found his happy forever home 🙂
What sort of mentality do these scumbags have to throw a defenceless animal from a car.
My daughter is fostering 2 of the eight puppies found last week in a cardboard box on a mountain. Makes my blood boil

Beautiful, lucky, little puddy-cat, wonderful that your own cat has adopted him already, hopefully no one will claim him now, if I had lost a pet I'd be frantic and be checking everywhere, they obviously are not.
But, can I have a puppy? please....
MOH is less keen, but he's a big softy.:-) I have always had dogs in the past... and he has made a few positive noises... so we shall wait and see.

Clearly Mr F doesn't understand the rules of life. Those cats have already made the descision.

Mr Fishy was caught cuddling him last night, with his teeny little paddy-paws
upturned next to his teeny little face, I wish I'd got a piccy before he wriggled
out!
Kittens are great time-users (not wasters!) - everytime I see that teeny little
kitten face looking at me all lopsided and a little meouw where no sound
comes out, I have to pick him up and cuddle him.
Him and our tabby cat sit in the crater they've made in the back of my armchair
and when they both start purring it's like having a bus behind me all evening!

Awwww!

You have to look carefully in that last piccy! Gobbler, our tabby cat, is
such a gorgeous gentle cat, I can see why the little one loves him.
Our huge ginger cat was scared of him at first but was caught washing him
the other day and he can now walk past him without being frightened. Goodness
knows why he was scared, he's about four times kitty's size!
