I'm a seasoned comper, never missing an issue of Chat, while my daughter buys T.A.B. She invariably passes it across to me if she can't get the answer so it was no surprise when she did it to me earlier - a word search with the unused letters spelling out a related answer - all about wine in this case. That sort of thing. I took it and checked her answers - it just didn't make sense, Among the left over letters was a letter X. None of the words contained the letter X and no way could the letters make up a missing word - there were too many. It's plainly obvious there has been an admin error. It's only one puzzle - Issue No 8, Strike It Lucky for £250.00 on page 40. OK so I know I never win, but to have NO chance - that's annoying! I''m in half a mind to demand a free copy through the post I stopped doing T.A.B. because the puzzles were impossibly easy and then this comes along! I only did it when they had a car as top prize
Has anybody else found errors on their competitions? Has anybody actually won anything?

Some time ago, my friend won the £3000 bonanza in TAB, the one where you choose your prizes up to that value.
She always said she never wins anything, she dont do things by halves.
Incidentally Fred, try their sister mag, thats life. That usually has a prize car

Oo, thanks! I'll try that - six months ago I had to let my Volvo 460 got to that great car breaker in the sky and I miss it terribly. I'd had it for eight years and it was almost part of me. Clutch, flywheel and God knows what else went on it. Ok, so I'm retired and have a bus pass, but I still get fed up waiting for a bus tha is always fifteen minutes late.
I only wish they'd bring out a man's puzzle magazine. Don't get me wrong - I'll read it as I'm doing it, but one or two men's features wouldn't go amiss,
