Having a Sunday lunch today. (Monday)

Because everything was a bit manic yesterday, I am having a calm day today and I shall be cooking Roast pork for tea with roasties and veg.

Now back to putting up the tree.

He wants splodge (must remember to get it out of the freezer) I don't know what I fancy yet.  Might make a roast beef dinner....

I went shopping in Felixstowe this morning and brought KFC home for lunch but very small.  He had a snack box and I had a fillet burger.

I went in Costa Coffee this morning.  First time ever !!!  Didn't like it, tooo rich and sweet.  It was only a flat white. Woman Indifferent

We are having turkey, mixed veg and gravy.

Costa have just opened in town but there is one on the retail park opposite the health club go to.  I like the coffee from Costa but I don't like the cost of it.  When my mum's been in hospital, I've gone to the cafe on the top floor and had a very nice coffee for a fraction of the cost.

Agree Chris it is expensive but our local garden centre charges the same. So we just have one for a treat.

Can I be rude and ask what you have for christmas lunch?

You're not being rude ed.  Guess what?  It's turkey.  My mum read some time back that turkey's good for you.  I'd like a change but it's like banging my head against a brick wall.

I don't think that I'd fancy that Maggie.  Mind you, there are times I feel that I'm 150 already.

Ha ha ha Chris. It is good for you or better for you than lots of red meat.

I agree ed.  White meat is better for you than red meat.  We very rarely have red meat now.  It's turkey, gammon, pork or fish.

We had prawn stir fry followed by syrup sponge and custard

NO costa for me but have a starbucks a couple of times a week as we have a coffee shop in work and it's subsidised (yes our work place really is that large) usual is a tall latte but at the moment a gingerbread or toffee nut latte is a treat
