Gold Fish

So i went to buy a goldfish for my daughter and was refused because the tank we purchased was not big enough!!!  2 and half feet long  1ft high, i was asked a million questions regarding its well being on how i would care for it . so i told them i would put it in the tank, talk to it every day and feed daily, not good enough apparently i was breaking  animal welfare and would be prosecuted by the goldfish police, come on now this is nuts, should i take it on holiday to avoid neglect. tuck it into bed every night in its mansion luxwey fish house.  worlds gone completely mad...................

Crikey it definitely appears so.

We have tropical fish and last week we went to a large Aquatics chain and said   "can we have 4  of those fish please" "

No questions nothing.  Just got them out of their tank and bagged them up.

I wonder what they would have said if we told them that all the males had died and that is what we were replacing 🙂
