Fridays fullsome fodder.

Bit early I know, but mine is already doing (she says smugly). came back from work and put all the ingredients in the cookpot for a lamb tagine. Mr. T has some new spice mixes so thought I would try them out. Will serve it with cous cous. lovely hardly any washing up and I  go back to work full up and warm.

Was going to be salmon with dauphinoise potato and baby carrots, but I had an emergency and ended up in hossie so it was cheese and crackers.

I hadn't been feeling great all day, but just tried to sleep it off. Nothing specific, just feeling tired and generally not 100%.

The alarm company rang to say that MIL's burgular alarm was going (for the third time this week), please would "him indoors" go and sort it. He went off moaning and whinging and ten minutes after he'd gone the muscle spasms started. So I did as I should and dialed 999 for assistance, but things deteriorated rather rapidly. Managed to catapult myself out of bed and knock myself out on the chest of drawers.

"Him indoors" arrived to find the ambulance crew banging on the door and shouting through the letterbox, cos' being unconsious on the floor with my arms and legs thrashing everywhere I was unable to let them in.

I woke up in A & E feeling as if I'd just gone 15 rounds against Henry Cooper. My mouth is all sore as I've bitten the inside of my cheeks and my lips. I've got a huge bruise all down one side of my face.

"Him indoors" was not a happy bunny because his journey was a total waste of time as MIL had just forgotten to turn the alarm off before opening the garage door AGAIN. Never occurred to her to let the alarm monitoring company or "him indoors" know.

It's the calcium and magnesium levels dropping dangerously low that causes the muscle spasms - a couple of hours connected to a drip sorts it out, but the bruises are going to take a while to fade. It's the first time that I've managed to fall out of bed though.
