Favourite quiz show, past or present

I watched "Fifteen-To-One" on channel 4 last night and it made me wonder what your favourite quiz show is/was? I think mine was "Strike It Lucky" with Michael Barrymore, more for his antics probably, than the actual show. Favourite at the moment is "The Chase."

My favourite from my childhood was the Generation game, we spent many a Saturday night in front the fire watching it and roaring at the silly beggers doing daft things, also Blankety Blank the original series when Kenny Everet was in it.

My favourite at the moment is also the Chase, love Bradly Walsh

I don't watch them much as I don't turn on the tv until about 6.30 but I do catch Pointless sometimes & I like that. I hated all the old ones with shrieking audiences.

Oh yes, I loved the Generation Game when it was Bruce Forsyth; didnt like it when it was brought back with Jim Davidson as the host. (Think I've got that right?)

I like them all and cant think of one that stands out. Anything where I can learn is always good. The Chase is always good to watch. As I often make up quizzes then I watch as many as I can for hints and tips

I like just about all the quizzes but don't like game shows, they're too rowdy and silly, although I do like Family Fortunes.  I like the Chase very much and Pointless, and the Weakest Link.
