FRIDAY'S tea thread

We don't appear to have had "a tea thread" for a while....so now I am back, with avengence....then I will start one to get the weekend off to a good start.

 

Alex, my 15 year old and I are having kedgeree for our tea

 

Looking forward to finding out what the rest of you are having

Ham salad and new potatoes, bit boring but I am going to work later and the men folk can't (wont) cook.

Slow cooked lamb shanks in red wine gravy ,new potatoes ,cauliflower cheese ,carrots and peas .

 

Then goosegog crumble & custard for pud

Chicken with tomato and basil pasta with chips. Not home made im afraid but courtesy of one of our lush food stores!!. My treat tonight.. Then a caramel Milk pudding for dessert. YUM YUMMY Cat WinkCat EmbarassedCat LOL

Gosh, I wish I lived at Stan's - what they are having always sounds so good.

 

"Himself" presented me with bacon steak, new potatoes and cauliflower cheese. I managed about a quarter of it, and now he'll be grumpy all night because I wasn't able to finish it.

Will admit that on weekdays we usually have something that I can pop on in the morning that is ready when I finish work and only needs the accompaniments sorting out Smiley Wink

I bet everybody's gonna say YUKK!!  but we had potatoes out of the garden, carrots, broccoli, cabbage Yorkshire pudding and liver and kidney in the richest tastiest gravy you can imagine.  It was absobloominlutely gorgeous!!!heart   Woman LOL

Just had a cheese toastie but then again, I went out for lunch and had steak, chips, mushy peas, onion rings, mushrooms and tomato.  I didn't need a big tea.

Son had take out from the chippy, I had leftover chips and ice cream, OH went to bed LOL. Then he got up and had irish stew and chips!!

 

Hi Stroppy.  Think ATOS haven't twigged yet.  "please continue on a seperate piece of paper if necessary".  Oh dear - pity they didn't think to include a reply paid envelope happy to swallow half a ream of A4 isn't it.  LOL

we had ours at lunchtime...lemon and thyme chicken, roasties with garlic, peas, and it was fabulous because I didn't have to cook it!! hahahah courtesty of T*sc*s finest range.

too busy for tea, had toast just now.

I just glue and tape the supplied envelope onto my foolscap gusseted envelope - after all it isn't me who has to go to the post office and brave the wrath of the counter clerk.
