anybody good at technical photo stuff
i have 2 things i want to do:
1:make some photo xmas cards, but they are pricey to order online unless anyone knows different and i was hoping a program or a site will let you upload and print with a xmasy theme.eg:i add a pic of my son and it will add a santas hat or something similar.does anyone know of something i can use.

2.i have a photo of my son and a photo of a dear friends daughter, they live overseas and have never met and we refer to them as cyber gf/bf and i would love to send my friend of a photo of them together.again is there a program that will allow me to do this?

hopefully thanks in advance

Beautiful photos nat and wildcat 🙂

Mrs R - I have exactly the same problem :^O

Cyber - I haven't a clue I'm afraid as I haven't used this sort of program but I would imagine there is software around that would do this 🙂

Well, the good and bad of today. I have been and had my shoulder injected. Felt very queasy after that as it was more than a little painful. 😞

HOWEVER

I have been over and got my new Sigma 10-20mm lens (with polarizing filter) and the best news of all is that hubby and my mum have clubbed together to buy it for my Christmas pressie 🙂 So I can't wait to try out my new baby on the holiday which has nearly arrived!!!

I am now on bed rest for the next day and then will do some frantic packing!!! :^O

1. mount camera on tripod/level surface
2. highlight release mode in the quick settings display
and select one of the release modes, self-timer/delayed remote/quick reponse remote
3. frame the photograph
for self timer - press shutter release button halfway to focus, the rest of the way down to start timer. Self timer lamp will begin to blink, stopping 2 secs before photo is taken
Release mode is set to single frame or continuous after shutter is released.
4. self timer is switched off when the camera is switched off. Photobucket

Paint shop pro or photoshop elements will allow you to select cut and paste different elements of your photo`s into one pic, and make it look as if two people were together.

There are some freeware photo editing programmes but I dont know if they would enable you to do this easily or at all.

I use photoshop CS3 which is perfect for the job, but it`s a very expensive programme, and only worth the expense if you`re going to do a lot of photo editing.
