Daughter off Florida!

Good Afternoon, 

I have been up since 4 am this morning to see daughter off, she is flying out to west palm beach Florida,she is 19, going with a friend and staying with her friends relatives. I am really pleased & excited for her, she has worked hard and saved for this holiday, before she goes to university in September.   

At the same time I feel sad and miss her already.

Felling like this, then makes me feel guilty so I cannot win, It does not help that I have had 4 hours sleep. Am I  normal? I am really going to struggle when she leaves for uni:0( 

I would love to know if you have had similar experiences, How did or would you deal with it?

My Husbands attitude is more time/money/space I feel completely different.

When my son left home 11 years ago, I was quickly helping him to pack.I now realise that that although we 

do not see each other or get along as much as I would like, I have a strong bond with him.On a lighter note Have you been to Florida?Any Information good/bad would be very welcome.:0)

At least she is coming back.

We've just left our 22 year old at the airport, he's going to Missouri to get married and start a new life.!

Where exactly is she going to be staying in Florida.?

I worked & lived for a year just outside of Tampa in Palm Harbor...lovely place, beautiful weather, and surprisingly quiet...

She is going to widen her horizons, and that's always good.

Thing is, with todays global communications, no-one is really very far away :-x
