Evening all.
I am having a visit in the week from a special friend who I haven't seen for a good few years,
I bumped into here while on holiday this year and we have made arrangements for her to visit, the thing is due to us both having personal commitments time is not very free so we have had to plump for a breakfast meet up.
I would love to have some scrummy ideas to prepare for a special breakfast but don't know where to start. I usually only have a bit of cereal and a cuppa.
I have googled but I haven't found anything of much help, we both need healthy nutricious low fat things due to being a bit over weight and a few health issues.
I can't take fry ups and I know my friend needs to watch fats etc.
Has anyone one any ideas to help me out.
I would be very grateful.

Evening all,
Just to say thanks to all who replied and helped me to choose a breakfast.
I finally went for simple and healthy, I stayed away from fry ups and egg, although I was tempted.
I chose, Fresh orange fruit juice, croissants with butter and assorted fillings.
A platter of fresh fruit - mango, kiwi, pineapple, grapes, strawberries, gala-water-honeydue melons, served with cranberry and nut muesli and natural yogurt.
Coffee
We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and had a wonderful catch up. I realised how much I'd missed her.
