Just come back with the dogs, absolutely soaked, blowing a gale, loverly. 2 very misserable dogs, now I am off for a shower before I go to skittles, probably getting wet again. I hope we win tonight might make it worthwhile.

I have just been out to put something in the bin and very nearly ended up as "Mary Poppins" LOL. I can hear the fences blowing about. A friend of mine cycles to work but he has decided to take the car as he is fearful of being blown about into the middle of the road.

it hasn't stopped raining here all day and it's going at it now too.

we have a fence panel out and the new one we ordered is stored in the garage along with the wheely bin as it's getting very windy.

Really nasty here. The bin has gone sailing down the garden but I am not going out to fetch it! Damson is more than happy to stay on her bed. Rain coming in through the wall in the back porch. Must be a SW gale.

We've not had much rain here today but the wind has got stronger as the day has gone on.  It's frightening.  I'm lucky in that I don't have to go out tonight but I have to do in the morning.

Same here not much rain but gusting winds, just seen my wheelbarrow going down the farmyard on its own, hope it's having fun cos I'm not going out to rescue it!

It is truly awful here - started off wet and windy first thing and has just got worse all day.

By the time I had transferred from the wheelchair into the car I was soaked through - I had to put carrier bags on the car seat to keep the seat as dry as possible.

When we got home, by the time I had transferred into my wheelchair and got into the house I had to strip off in the shower as my clothes were so wet. I'm really NOT looking forward to going back to the hossie in an hour or so.

Hope that you don't get too wet Stroppy.  We've just had one almighty downpour and the lights keep going on and off and I don't mean the lights on the Christmas tree either.  This weather should be banned along with snow.

Saasher, I hope that your wheelbarrow's really enjoying itself.  Methinks that one of the fence panels between our back garden and the neighbour's garden will go soon if it hasn't already gone.  For some reason, I am not going to check.

Back home, We won at skittles, some numpty put their recycling out on  the pavement and it is now all over the road.  a lot of surface water, but thankfully the wind has died down and it has finally stopped raining.  Sorry about the south westerlies coming up from my way I am afraid.

It hasn't stopped here ( the wind) and it's been raining for a while.  It's blowing from the SW so it's on the back of the house, especially the kitchen but surprisingly enough, Lottie's still in here.  She's in her bed so I've put her covers up over her ears.

Its been raining all day & very windy , getting much worse now though i can hear the wind in my chimney !

cat is in his bed so thats where im off to as soon as ive finished my cup of tea & piece of stollen cake , DH has already gone up as hes working in Poole tomorrow so has a very early start .

We have had floods in Aberdare S.Wales..emergency services have been called out in some parts, went to my disabled mam's earlier and the rain was so bad could hardly see through my windscreen..dreadful weather.

It has calmed down a lot here as well.  We've been getting the wind from the southwest and it also hits the back of our bungalow.  The thing is that the bedrooms are at the back of the bungalow so when the wind is in that direction, we tend to have trouble sleeping.

We had wind and rain that started late last night,,, now today its a bit chillier but blue sky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Not a snowflake in sight awwwwwwwww noooooooooo COME ONNNNNNN.

When we were out this morning, it was cold and we had wall to wall blue skies.  However, this afternoon, we have had rain and it's been a bit windy but it's awfully cold.
