I had a gut feeling this would happen. For the past three weeks BT have been plugging a new "Improved" email system. Tried getting into it with my normal password - no, it wouldn't work. "It takes just two minutes to download a new, improved email version", so off I went. "User name/password not recognised" so now I am unable to do anything. "Forgotton your password? (Which I havent) "We'll send you a new on via your email address." which I can't *Bleep* open anyway! Why can't they just leave things alone? I can't get into my email system using my old password, nor my new password - BT are absolutely *bleep* USELESS!

EBay's new password system is no better. Did as I should - sometimes it works using my new password, other times it doesnt, in which case I revert back to the the original password, which kicks into life, which only goes to prove eBay haven't got their security system running properly, otherwise it shouldn't be possible to use both alternatively. Now you know why I don't bank on line!

You could try accessing your email through yahoo - daughter has bt email, and accesses it through yahoo, so I know that it can be done.
Can you google the settings to allow you to access email through outlook?

I have BT Broadband but still use Yahoo as my email. You don't have to have a BT email address at all.

When you go to log in, make sure you click on email and not log in which is at the top of the page. They are two different passwords.
