not human babies, but little Whippet pups 🙂
My daughter Zoe just rang me, all excited. She just got to help out at the Vet's to deliver 9 puppies by C Section. She has sat up for the past 3 nights with the Mum, and then this afternoon noticed she was struggling, so whipped her up to the Vets. The puppies were just too big for the bitch to deliver on her own, so they had to do C Section quickly. Mum & babies all doing well, now Zoe has 9 of them to feed every 2 hours tonight, lol.

I love puppies as well. I'd love another dog but it's taking them out for walks when the weather's bad.

Must admit that I thing dogs are good company and they are very loyal. Our neighbours have a border collie pup called Boo. She's about 10 or 11 months old now and she's lovely.

Damson was one of nine. Is she a dog breeder Welshie?

Sorry, still not got any piccies, she has been so busy constantly feeding the first 9 pups, and now she has 4 Jack Russell pups too, but they are fine & feeding straight from Mum.
No, she isn't a breeder Love2, but she has a few dogs (4, without the pups), and just wanted to let the bitches have one litter before having them spayed.
Hopefully the Whippet bitch will get her milk in soon and Zoe should be able to step back a bit 🙂

I hope she has homes for them. Sorry but I really think this 'one litter' thing is a bad idea & is yet another reason the rescues are full of unwanted dogs.:-( Just my opinion.

I agree Maggie. We always have bitches and I'd just love them to have some babies, but I never have. One season (to reach maturity) and it's off to the vets. It would only be selfishness on my part to let them have pups. Apart from Lottie, all the others (Only 3) have been rescue pups. One of them was one of a litter of 13, all females!!!:O Although we bought Lottie from a private person (they weren't a breeder as such) that was only because we heard she'd been taken away from her mother at four weeks and was living in the cupboard under the stairs by herself.:_|

She does have homes all lined up for all of them, and even if she hadn't, they would be kept, she would never ever dump an animal, she is a rescuer of all types of animals, including ferrets, chickens, horses and dogs. It was actually her vet who suggested that the bitches should have a litter before being spayed.
Please be assured, she is a very responsible pet owner, as anyone who has ever met my daughter would tell you. She can't have children, so the animals are her children instead, and they get everything they need, even if it means she has to go without.

but they aren't getting their photograph taken:_|
aawwwww she sounds a lovely person Welshy, if I had the space I'd have every animal under the sun...not spideys though..yuk!
I'd love a coo, a donkey and a couple of sheep. There's a paddock around here with two horses in and a hoooge sheep, I think it's a pet, they all sleep and eat together, it looks so cute!
I agree about the one litter thing, poor Lottie living in a cupboard, well done CG rescuing her.
