Crumbs I though the hill I was going up was hard work that's more like a mountain Stan,
Miss S had better limber up then

Yep its a mountain alright, it's called the panorama because of it's view and it is part of Minera Mountain.
They are doing a 12 mile route up and over the top.

My hubby and dogs would love it, me I prefer a bit of a gentle slope, being rather unfit. I am sure the view would be worth it though.
Just looked it up stunning !

Good luck to Miss S for tomorrow. Sorry I can't join her Stan but as you know, I'm otherwise engaged with a certain wedding. Don't think that I could manage that hill, mountain or call it what you will.

So sorry I didn't get back to you all yesterday but here is the latest
Miss S completed the hike yesterday and wants me to pass on her heart felt thanks to all those who sponsored her individually plus and extra big to the multi charity support forum for their very generous and unexpected donation.
The Hip flask Hikers have now broken the £2000 pound mark (not bad as they set out to raise just £1000) and Sophie raised just over £300 pounds between her just giving page and a chatity pot set up in my old pub.
There are still donations coming in so when the final amount is announced I will let you all know .
I would also like to thenkyou all for your support and good wishes for Sophie as knowing that other people were willing her on helped me pass the day without too much worry (although I did wear just a little groove in the carpet).
