Is it indeed? Is it safe for me to Google that?
PS This is the 18181 snipe... 🙂

It's not exactly NSFW, but it is slightly notty!
And darn..... I missed that 😓 😂
09-09-2025 10:06 PM
I'm not bothered if it's NSFW or not; I haven't been working since January...!!

Okays.
Anyways, I was down in London over the Friday and Saturday, protesting against the destruction of our Greenbelt Land and our historic buildings... bit of a mess in the end really! Rozzers blocked off the route, then directed us to go to where the other protestor group was and blocked us off there too 😂

Didn't realise there was a third protest going on on Saturday - the media covered only the mistake made in allowing the big protest and the counter protest to it getting too close together...
09-10-2025 11:35 AM
Yes, a third, but the confrontation between the two main groups was not a mistake, it was very much deliberate, they needed footage for the cameras.
09-10-2025 9:29 PM
Yikes! That sounds like you are saying the Met engineered the confrontation so they could be seen on the news to be sorting it out quickly?!
13-10-2025 10:18 AM
Wish that wasn't the case, but they had deliberately closed off the agreed and approved route, then told us to go down to the bridge they knew the counter-protesters were, then stopped everyone from going further there too.
13-10-2025 10:07 PM
Can we be certain that was planned and wasn't just poor communications and incompetence on the day?
13-10-2025 10:08 PM
I mean... the Met doesn't exactly have the best reputation for knowing what it's doing does it?
23-10-2025 3:47 PM
True, but three times (a lady), most likely not.
Anyway, I finally managed to go inside the farm near me, gotta say, I would not like to make a habit of going into such places, not alone and not without several planks of wood to span the gaps in the floor I had traverse upstairs 😅
23-10-2025 10:38 PM
Yikes!!!
Does Zak Bagans have a budding rival developing in you...?!
28-10-2025 1:39 PM
Nothing spooky happened... unfortunately.... but it was enlightening, though as usual, I have found out that it is due to be demolished, probably not before the year out, but definitely afterwards.
Unless it could gain protection, it's definitely being destroyed, problem is, as there has already been a survey and they ruled against, I'd have to disprove the original survey, I'd possibly be able to do that, however brings in its own set of problems, as the developer could then turn around and use its condition as a levy to get it condemned as unsafe and get it demolished anyway. Only thing I could do there, is pour funds into fixing it up in secret.... funds I definitely do not have ☹️

Is there anything of particular historical or architectural interest in this disused farm building - presumably a farmhouse or barn? - that you can think of?
30-10-2025 4:29 PM
Sadly at this moment in time, the only thing of architectural interest would be the original window, the rest of it... alas no. Annoyingly, English Heritage have Grade listed other buildings for less, yet they won't do anything for this, as it has already been surveyed (supposedly) and the computer said no!
30-10-2025 11:21 PM
Surveyed by whom? English Heritage themselves? ...or a third party reporting back to them?
