Just thought that I'd start a gardening thread.  What's everyone growing this year?

I've started off brussels, cabbage, swede, broccoli, kale, peas and broad beans so far. Luckily they are all started off inside as I've not got the veggie garden ready yet

We are growing tomatoes and cucumbers.  We've also started our bedding plants off.

Put onions in before xmas. Other than that just weeds until it warms up a bit.

We always start ours off indoors as well.  A tip we heard on TV a few years ago was to bring the seed compost indoors in the warmth for a few days before planting any seeds.

He's got all sorts in the greenhouse and two or three things outside.  I think his broad beans are a couple of inches tall outside.  He's got something else under plastic sheeting.  I know he has broad beans, peas,  cauliflower and purple cauliflower and tomatoes.

It's a bit too cold to have anything outside at the moment.  We have more frost forecast for the next couple of nights.

i as usual will be growing weeds of all different varieties as the bees and butterflies love them.most of my garden now is a wildlife habitat of plants that come back year after year so i do not have to do much to it...the only thing i must do this year is change the herbs in my belfast sinks..
