Waiting for payment

I sold an item using eBay simple delivery, Royal Mail tracking wasn’t updating but the buyer has received the item. He’s left me good feedback but the money is waiting to be sent and won’t be sent until tracking shows delivered. Chat bot is useless what can I do.

If the tracking doesn't update the payment will be held for 14 days.   There is also the possibility of it being held for 30 days if ebay classify you as a new seller.

As has already been stated, if tracking doesn't show as delivered then payment will be released 14 days after the date of sale.

The 30 day payment hold for new and returning sellers now only applies to Business Sellers.

Looking at your sold items you should soon be eligible for faster payments (usually within 24 hours of the buyer paying).  The eligibility criteria for that is 10 or more sales with a total value of £150 or more within the last 5 years, no more than 2 currently open requests/cases, and no more than 2 transaction defects within the last 12 months.
