Re: Advice me

Sales are low for everyone,  you are not alone.  Just scroll down this forum and you'll see at least 2 or 3 threads asking the same question as you.

People are tightening their belts and not buying non essentials , there's not much money around for most people.

That on top of competition for the items you are selling is great.

Have you looked at the prices your competitors are selling the same items for?  Buyers will usually choose the Best Match option >> Lowest price when seeing many of the same item, and buy the cheapest.

Even selling your items for a penny less than the cheapest on offer may see a few more sales for you,  worth a try ! 🤔

Re: Advice me

To add to the Pro-Mentor's good advice, It always helps to review how Best Match Search works. The eBay algorithm does a very good job of showing in Search what a Buyer is likely to purchase. Why am I mentioning this? Because this is why Best Match Search does not show everything available. In fact, eBay T&Cs say they may not show your items to Buyers at all!

eBay says it relies on four main things (besides previous purchase history) which are 1. Title 2. Details 3. Photos and 4. Price. In that order of importance.

The first four words of your title are most heavily weighted. Your titles are good but there is room for improvement. Words like these are counter-productive and waste space - the, new, for - as do commas. The first four words are heavily weighted in Search. Normally I would tell you to put the Brand Name and Model here but you are selling a lot of unbranded look-alike items so this is problematic.

Your item specific details look good.

Most of your photos look great.

All that said, if a listing is terrible with blurry photos and poor details it will sell if it is a desirable item at the right price. When things are slow do you use Research tool to check 3-year sales?  These will give you a reasonable idea of how much the Item is actually worth. For example unbranded round wooden wall clocks for children usually sell for around £10. Only four have sold in the last three years. Yours is priced at £25 which is okay, but it means you may have to wait years for the right Buyer to come along.

You may have noticed Description is not one of the four. Most modern Buyers don't read it! And of those who do, the majority are reading on their phones. Some of yours look good - they are brief and factual. Others need work. The ones that only have oversized photos make it difficult for Buyers to find basic information quickly.

Last but not least is to improve your Feedback. The two main complaints seem to be that things are not as expected (unbranded rather than the brand advertised) and poorly packed. Better clarity and a bit more care should help a lot. Good luck!
