Seller posting real life photos of model railway items

I noticed a seller had posted real photos of a container and a railway electrical box when listing models of them.

Is this actually allowed?

A seller may post any photos they like.

What is your real concern?

Both by the same seller.

The "Portable Cabin" or container is very misleading. You can't buy one of these for £10!

That will be the seller's problem.

Haven't you heard of the trade descriptions act?  They are misleading the buyer(s).

I don't see the misleading side. The first picture (actually picture of a real item) looks really ugly so if anything it will decrease their chance of selling a model version).

Possibly copyright issues on that first picture as it's used without consent from the owner (unless they took the photo themselves).

It's another case of a business seller trading on a private account though.

Certainly is and I am sure they will have landed themselves in trouble selling the Sumup wifi card machine. Those are definately non transferrable.

Anyway it wont be too long until they are in the club..... The HMRC club with 30 sales etc.
