Subject: Community help needed discussion. My Experience – Unacceptable Service and Unprofessional Conduct
Dear community please help me, this was part my complaint during chat for clarification.. can anyone help ?
I am writing to formally escalate my complaint regarding the appalling service and unprofessional conduct I have experienced during multiple interactions with eBay agents, most recently with agents The handling of my issue has been not only inefficient but also entirely unacceptable, and I demand immediate resolution.
1. Unfulfilled Promises and False Information
During my conversation , I was repeatedly assured that my complaint was a high priority and that I would receive timely updates, as well as feedback on a resolution we worked on together. I was told not to worry and that the matter would be resolved. It is now clear that these assurances were not only false but misleading. explicitly stated that I would be notified and that my complaint would be escalated, yet after nearly 60 days of waiting, I have received no communication or response. This breach of trust is not only unprofessional but deeply frustrating.
Furthermore, when I raised my concerns with subsequent agents,, I was given conflicting and incorrect information. Confirmed that my complaint had been logged, but then misled me by stating that eBay does not follow up on complaints unless they relate to Managed Payments. This is a direct contradiction to what told me, which further demonstrates a lack of clarity and consistency in eBay’s processes.
2. Inadequate Customer Care for Vulnerable Individuals
As a carer for a chronically unwell individual, I am under immense personal stress. The hours I have spent dealing with eBay’s customer service – waiting for over 5 hours across multiple interactions with little to no resolution – is an unacceptable burden. This situation has not only wasted my time but has added to my personal stress and anxiety, which is something I cannot afford. The lack of urgency or consideration for my circumstances is appalling.
3. Unprofessional and Disrespectful Behavior
The failure of eBay agents to handle this matter professionally is evident in their dismissive attitude and disregard for the commitments made to me. I was forced to repeat my situation multiple times, and I was transferred between agents with no real progress. The prolonged wait times and lack of resolution are further compounded by the fact that eBay has failed to honor the promises made by your representatives. This is not just poor service – it is a fundamental failure of eBay’s duty to its customers.
4. eBay's Liability
eBay’s failure to act on this matter and provide accurate, consistent, and timely responses is a clear violation of basic customer service standards. The misinformation I was given, coupled with the unacceptable delays, has caused significant inconvenience, stress, and frustration. Furthermore, eBay’s failure to resolve my issue in a reasonable timeframe demonstrates a lack of accountability on your part, and this is not only disappointing but deeply unprofessional.
5. What I Expect Moving Forward
I demand an immediate, comprehensive response that addresses the following:
- A full review and acknowledgment of the promises made by Akash, including the failure to notify me of updates as promised.
- A clear and formal resolution to my complaint, including specific actions that will be taken to prevent such egregious failures in the future.
I expect a response to this email within 48 hours. If I do not receive an adequate resolution, I will have no choice but to escalate this matter further to consumer protection authorities and explore legal options for the distress and inconvenience caused.
I trust that eBay will take immediate action to rectify this situation and restore some level of trust. However, based on the poor service and lack of accountability I’ve experienced thus far, I am deeply concerned that this will continue to go unresolved.

This complies with all eBay rules . So removal is attempting to hide mistreatment . Am I wrong?

i understand that. If you read the title it tells you it's what I had sent eBay and asking general community for advice , as I've reached a dead end .

I would put what you have written in a letter ( outlining the initial issue at hand) and send it to Customer Complaints AND the CEO of eBay. ( Use signed for tracked mail )
There are many disillusioned eBayers, so please do not feel alone in your endeavours to resolve.
Try to take a little time out for yourself, you do matter.

Your wall of text is littered with 'unacceptable', 'unprofessional', etc. But doesn't actually tell us what the original problem is. We none of us here have access to ebay's records, and none of us are psychic.
So if you want helpful advice you need to spell out what happened. And don't make it so long we lose our attention span.

Reason ; you have the gist of my issues and it do not contain personal details because it's been edited as personal information including chat room representatives names cannot be shown ... So to clarify , it's a community plea for help . And you don't need the details . This 'wall' you talk about so helpful humans can observe an outline . As no response from eBay personally, I rightfully ask community. If you don't understand that then do some more reading or better still... Don't comment at all 😂

Yes, this is supposed to be a community , however behind the screen (or closed doors) we can feel alone when we are faced with injustice with no solution in sight and sometimes people forget that as human beings we go through real things that can have a huge impact and just need anothers support or encouragement to help see us through.
It is a shame witnessing those who are too quick to place judgement without thinking why questions are asked or what that person may have experienced, plus I do understand you not putting the actual issue at hand on a " bill board" so to speak, we all do not have to air our personal " stories" to have empathy for another.

That doesn't stop you from giving a summary of the problem. The edit would have been only because of some specific info, such as the name of a buyer. Probably you received a private message from the moderator clarifying what was unacceptable. Just respect that constraint, then people can (try to) help you.
