Just sold an item, and sent it this morning, went to the drop-down menu in order details to 'mark as despatched' only to find this option has disappeared and eBay are steering me in the direction of purchasing there prepaid label. (I don't need a label, I have a PEN)
All I want to do is add the tracking details for the buyer.
What's going on now? It's getting really bad now, eBay holding my funds for ages even though tracking says items have been delivered, the sellers protection fees and now this.
One unhappy customer!

From Monday Simple Delivery will be mandatory where you have to use ebay's postage labels. You can still opt out during the listing process (until the 7th) but you have it enabled on your current listings.
See if you can add the new tracking to the order by going to the Order Details > Postage > dropdown menu (beside track package) > Add Tracking > + Additional Tracking Number. If not contact ebay and ask them to do it. You can use callback on here:

As you will have gathered by now eBay will enforce there simple delivery method starting on the 15th any pre listing item will be changed on the 7th onwards
It’s a real shame I had got very proficient at packing and posting and supporting my local post office shop , I’m not going to travel to drop off at other providers
so for me and a good many others, we will be removing any listings it’s “ simply “ not worth the bother
as you can see many have already done just that

Well it’s a real shame I have to say until now I’ve enjoyed my eBay experience as a seller and have had very few issues and my buyers have been happy
postage wise I’ve always done my own thing and also supported my local post office shop
sadly I will be removing any listings when this is enforced
