Hi everybody!

 

The Community Chat will open at 2pm and will remain open until 3pm on Wednesday. After that it will be closed for further questions. Of course, we will continue to take care of answering any questions that may still be unanswered—We’ll get to everything as quickly as possible.

Anything we aren’t sure on we’ll know the people who will be! Please ask us any questions you may have and we’ll do all we can to support. Please refrain from asking the same question repeatedly in our weekly live chats. Unfortunately, we don't offer one to one support here for account issues. We can't review your account to see if there's an issue that might be causing a drop in sales like you're seeing. Without reviewing your account it's not possible for me to give you a concrete solution.

Absolute nightmare all my postages changed i was added to business postage opted out now but it's saying i post worldwide on parcels which i dont. Someone in Ireland bought an item, i don't send to Ireland and the postage wasn't even right was £5 when it should be £8.60. Some prices are too high some too low. Is a bot making all this up? I have never seen such a mess tbh in 20 years of being on here. And now cannot make any offers at all

I'm not aware of any issues with profile pictures are you unable to update it?

 

Sometimes when we're running updates it can affect where the pictures are stored. Adding the image again usually resolves the issue.

I have received last Friday a Compliance Document requeston 18th January for a 'Fresh' listing, listed 14th January

 

My inventrory excludes all EAA & NI countries, Double checked by a regular poster @4_bathrooms 

 

Additional contact from another Baby Toy seller who has also received a new Compliace Doc requests

 

Why?

 

All three of us have the understanding that excluding EEA&NI wold stop inventory being removed.

 

Cant ask the Compliace Department as they have no communication with us, the customer

Unfortunately we do not have that time comfort to wait for eBay to do something. From experience here (18 years) I know that it is very unlikely that anything will be actually done about that, leaving us out of pocket. It seems to me that we are a victim of your AI 'improvement'.

 

As ebay makes baseless claims, damaging our business, we will be sending 'Cease & Desist' letter - please advise your colleagues. In the meantime, we will also start estimating our financial loss, just in case we must file a claim against eBay.

Hi @parsley2003 ,

 

I'm not sure what has occurred for your postage options. Check your postage locations in your account settings to see that countries you don't post are excluded. 

With regards to the offers this is a technical issue that was reported today. There is an open ticket with tech for this so I will add your account to it. There is a main thread on it in the technical issues board and any updates on a fix will be posted there.

I post letters overseas and many of those are now down as tracked ridiculous prices £2.75 uk £8.00 USA someone contacted me about it last night. Have sorted the parcel items but now how many single postcards are wrong? That is the question. What is happening is that we are being added to things without our knowledge like Global Shipping so we don't even know we have to opt out until there is a complaint. I had terrible abuse from someone in USA last year because i would not send a doll. I am taking it off gradually and putting in sets before Ebay add £10 to 10 postcards as it won't combine multiple orders from the same buyer on 4/2.
