In the past, whenever I've bought stuff, I've usually had to wait for it to turn up, which I can live with. The one thing I can't stand is unrealistic delivery dates. For example, it was a few weeks ago when I bought a supplement to the London Transport General Appendix from 1979. According to the time of arrival, it should have arrived last week but it still hasn't turned up - I think the seller should have given a more realistic time frame for when you're due to get it.
I wouldn't be surprised if some postie has got it because I've read accounts online of posties doing that, nicking mail that's in their care. And if you do leave negative f/b , saying that it hasn't turned up then the seller blocks you. I've not done that I hasten to add but it could happen and if it did, well, it just isn't on because you're only expressing your opinion. I think that sellers should give buyers a more realistic time frame when it comes to receipt of item. If they're on holiday, fair dos, which reminds me...eBay should allow buyers to buy stuff even when the seller's away, rather than making them wait until they come back from their hols.

It is not the seller that gives a time frame it is ebay,
These are often made up apparently based on tack record of the seller and other thing sold on ebay.
Personally i think this is HOGWASH
Have you messaged the seller when you can expect the delivery if no reply open a case if it is past the expected date or if you are being realistic a reasonable delivery time.
Example my free economic postage should be delivered in 5 days according to royal mail ebay think is should be in 1-2 days, Economy = cheapest i can get if you want it faster pay for it.

adding to the advice already given -
Of course a seller is going to block buyer's who leave negative feedback, anyhow why would a buyer want to use a seller again after leaving them negative feedback.
many sellers will block you any way for your liking of using profanities in posts and feedback.
