ebay knife policy. I have only a debit card do not have a credit card

as above no credit card. I have only got a debit card so can you help, as I cannot buy a chainsaw as it is classed as a knife on ebay

eBay won't budge on this one.   Ask a friend with a CC to buy it for you.

As per the request for a credit card details eBay have shown, this is the only means of proving age verification for the items eBay deems as requiring it.

theres no other way around it.

Anyone of any age can own a debit card,  but you have to be 18 years old or older to own a credit card, and eBay has selected to have this,  as the only proof of age verification they accept,  on their site.
