Make a note of the date this was posted if watching BBC Rip off Britain on catch up.
Will say 1st. Don`t shoot the messenger. Just passing on what the BBC says
with regards consumer rights.
The last story is about authenticity guarantees and your rights.
But the story before that , about not getting what you expected in the package
was more interesting. It shows how you should video the un-boxing and / or
asking the courier to check with you, and your rights. I know this has had different
opinions on here.

The courier isnt going to hang around waiting for you to open the parcel, they are on a tight schedule.
Who's to say you didnt open the box, remove the item then tape it up again ?
Pictures mean nothing.
Ebay already protects you if item is missing or not as described.

Did you watch the program ?
Was no mention of taking photos
Don`t shoot the messenger . Was the BBC that did the program and had
the experts (not me) give out the buyer rights and how to go about things.
In the case they discussed, eBay did not help
