I am seeing an item for sale in Italy. The price is about £129 including shipping (£22).
Will VAT be added on checkout? Or when the item arrives in the depot? Or buying from EU countries on eBay have already VAT inclusive in the price shown on the listing, hence we don't need to worry about adding VAT on the check out or on delivery / collection from the depot? How does it work now? Thanks

Yes, eBay is required to collect VAT on items located overseas at the point of sale with a value of £135 or less and also any item of any value located in the UK at the point of sale but sold by a seller registered overseas. The VAT will already be included in the listed price.

With added shipping costs you are likely to pay 20% VAT before the item is delivered to your UK Address >
