Only for 30 days and only if you can retain the item to return it to the seller
If it is seized by the police you lose everything, money and the item

I was expecting the delivery of the asprey & Garrard cufflinks box the Royal mail delivered the jiffy bag damaged and ripped open with nothing in it and they the Royal mail had sealed it In a polythene clear bag saying our sincere apologies that the enclosed has reached you in this condition and to claim if anything is missing via royalmail.com/claimsI attempted to do this but it states it has to be done by the seller or person posting the itemI will contact eBay to ask how we go about doing this claim and I will send you pictures of the jiffy bag ripped open and the Royal mails clear bag with the instructions and address showing back and front plus tracking detailsI was really looking forward in receiving this item and was very upset and I don't want to lose the money I paidSorry about this as has never happened to me before

If you have a question, it's better to start a new thread rather than tacking your issue onto the end of an existing post where it might not get seen.
You need to open a return case so your seller can deal with this.
They will have to send a label so you can return what you did receive - make sure you send them the Royal Mail clear bag etc. They will have to refund you when they get the packaging and then they will have to claim from Royal Mail.
To request a return, select the item you want to send back from your recent purchases above, or use the button below. You can also start a return request from your Purchases in My eBay.
