I recently bought 3 power supplies.
One of them didnt work so I started a return.
The seller just sent a return address without a returns label.
I complained to ebay but they said I have to wait about 5 days before asking them to step in.
This loophole needs fixing and stop sellers just sending an address.
Its not my fault the item was faulty so I dont see why I should pay to send it back.

You only have 30 days from estimated delivery date to open an official 'Item not as described' (faulty) case --- Seller or eBay should supply a prepaid return label --- follow the instructions carefully and escalate to eBay on day 4 for their assistance >

You are correct, you don't have to pay to send it back. In your situation what I do is message the Seller once within the Return Case to ask for the correct pre-paid label. Then if they haven't done it, you can escalate to eBay (usually on day 4).
I don't think this is a loophole. eBay knows some Sellers need time to sort a SAE returns label, especially in the case of overseas sales.
