Seller sent wrong item which I returned. Then they sent a second item which was not as described.

Hello all, I bought a phone, the seller sent me a tablet. I created a return and, using the automatic return label, sent the tablet back. Whilst the tablet was in transit I received the phone that they originally meant to send me but it turns out to be a different model to the one listed. The seller wants me to post the phone back to them. Should I wait to receive the refund from from the returning of the tablet?

One of you will have to trust the other and as you've received incorrect and then a "not as described" items I think it's fair that the seller does the trusting.    So wait for the refund first.   You can assure them you're happy to return it but need your money back first.

As advised, best to wait for the refund to be processed first.  They should also provide you with a prepaid return label for the phone.
