I ordered some headphones from a seller with good reviews, and it said they would arrive within 2-4 days. It got to the last day and still no headphones so I checked the shipping and the seller hasn't even posted them. I messaged the seller asking if they'd sent them to which they said no so I asked them to cancel the order, no reply. I opened a cancellation request, 3 days later, no reply. I opened an item not received request to which the seller has ignored and has said he can post in the next few days. However, I no longer need these headphones as I have ordered the same ones from another seller which have arrived in the time its taken to even get a message reply from the first seller. It has been two weeks since I ordered. I just want my money back and the seller is being so frustrating and eBay are so unhelpful.

Only thing you can do is continue with the item not received claim and escalate it on day 4 (working days) and the option to ask ebay to step in will appear.

Update: despite specifically asking the seller not to post the item, and being ignored, he has now posted the item over two weeks after ordering. I'm not going to bother trying to request a return as he won't respond.

If you have opened a not received claim you can request a return for a full refund if item arrives 1 day after latest estimated delivery date under Ebay's MBG.Seller has to pay the return cost.

Thank you for your response, the problem is that if I request a return he likely won't respond. Will eBay step in and help if this happens?
