If you are using a digital camera to take the photos that you want to add to the case then there is a very easy way to transfer them onto your computer without any outside help. The explanation given below is aimed specifically at people using a digital camera to take photographs, rather than people using a mobile phone for the same purpose:
First of all take some shots of the item in question from a lot of different angles so that you can review them afterwards in order to make your mind up as to which shots best show the faults with the item, then remove the card from the camera and insert it into the SDHC card reader slot in your laptop.
Once you have done that and the notification appears on the screen that a card has been inserted into the card reader click on the option to open it to view the images. Select the images that you want to use, then copy and paste them to the desktop of your laptop. In order to copy and paste right-click on the image that you want to copy and a drop-down menu should appear on the screen. (If, like me, you are left-handed and have switched the primary and secondary buttons on the mouse so that the mouse works left-handed then replace the term "right-click" with "left-click", as you would be using the middle finger of your left hand to "right-click" with a mouse set up for left-handed use, and using your left index finger to trigger the main button.) Click on the option that says "Copy", then go back to the desktop on your laptop and right-click the mouse again. When the drop-down menu appears select the option that says "Paste" and the shot ought to appear on your desktop. Repeat as many times as necessary with the remaining shots that you want to upload to the case.
If you get stuck with copying and pasting using the method described above there is a different method that you could use. The alternative option involves dragging the cursor across the screen until it is hovering over the image that you want to copy, then in order to copy it hold down the Ctrl (Control) key ( located in the bottom left hand corner of the keyboard) and press the C key, then release both keys. This will then copy the image. To paste it go back to the desktop, hold down the Ctrl button again and press the V key (Ctrl + V = Paste) and the image ought to appear on the desktop.
Once you have copied and pasted all of the images that you want to use go back to the eBay case and when it asks you to select an image to use click on the option to add an image, then search your computer's desktop, locate the first photo and double-click on it. This should upload the image and add it to the case. Repeat as many times as necessary in order to upload as many shots as you want to add.
Finally, in order to remove the card, click on the image of a USB drive along the bottom of the laptop. A message saying "Safely remove hardware and eject media" should then appear on the screen. Click on the image of the USB drive and you will see a drop-down list of all the devices available to remove and eject. Select the SDHC card option and the card is ready to remove. To remove it just push it in once, then let go and it should pop out a bit, allowing you to withdraw the card from your laptop.
If you follow this advice then you can cut out the middleman and do all of the work yourself, in which case you won't have to pay anybody to transfer your photographs onto a CD just so that you can use the CD to transfer the photos onto your laptop. It really is this easy - just practice regularly with it so as to get used to it (you could use a variety of cards containing images that you would like to transfer to your computer so that you've got something to work with), and you'll soon get to the point where you'll be asking yourself why you hadn't tried it this way sooner.
